Ok, I have always assumed that IBS causes/leads to no major health issues or other problems. However, a friend of mine who also has IBS (along with endometriosis and fibromyalgia) said her internest told her there is recent evidence that IBS, especially D, can lead to malnutrition. He bases this on food not absorbing into the system properly, especially if one has had their gall bladder removed.O course, when asked, he could not site the name or any other info on the study on this/.Flux, Guy, eric, everyone, any thoughts???------------------Color Rainbows in the Rain

That's because there ain't none and that's because it ain't true. IBS does not in and of itself lead to malnutrition.
