Hello!Meat has always been a problem with me. I have to stick with very, very, very lean meat. Skinless chicken is also a must. I eat 95% or more lean hamburger. The only meat that has me confused is porkchops. They are kind of high in fat but do not bother me at all.

I have the same problem with hamburgers!! I went to Ruby Tuesday's two weeks ago and I had a hamburger and about 10 minutes later I had to go home. What a pain because I was in the mall and really wanted to shop a little more!!
Red meat seems to bother me a lot lately. Oh, I just thought of another incident, I was over my sister-in-law's and she made filet mignon and right after dinner I had to run to the bathroom. It was terrible, her and my brother were having a party for my nephew's b-day and there were so many people there, I was so embarrassed!! Now everyone knows I have IBS!!

i too have had bad luck with any beef, pork, fish(which i don't like really anyway)prods. i can really only tolerate chicken and that is at a very low "dose". it has taken me many years(13) and trying everything imaginable to help my body deal with IBS-D. this is one thing that i have found to work for me. i now am able to eat salads(in moderation)and beans for protein. so many other foods that in the past i've had a problem with. so for me, i've "stumbled" on this to help me.
