Hi, I am new to this forum. I was diagnosed with IBS- D 7 days ago, and was presecribed Mebeverine. Until tonight it has really helped with the gurgling noises and gas, and helped a bit with the diarrhea. My stomach generally has felt much more settles, especially in the evenings after a big meal. However, last night I had diarrhea (I was very stressed) with mucus, so I decided to take 1 immodium to settle things down. Today, I have not had a BM, and tonight I have the usual noisy stomach, and constantly passing gas. Back to square one! Could this be because of the Immodium and the fact I havent had a BM? Or could this be the Mebeverine not working anymore? I was feeling so optimistic until tonight. Now, I feel queasy and icky in my stomach, and very gassy. Help :-S
