They work pretty well for me, but you have to make sure to drink a lot of water. I've never taken the full dose they recommend; even just taking 2 or 3 with a glass of water will get things moving, usually the next morning. You'll probably have to experiment to find the right dosage for you. I like the capsules better than the powder in the water because when the BM comes it isn't as harsh and it is way easier to get down.
