Never get board with this IBS, something new everyday-never same old ----,this a.m. awoke with gas pains as usual but something felt strange so I went to the bathroom before attempting to pass it and along with it was mucus. Now I've passed mucus with stools before, but never a gas/mucus combo. Wonder what new and exciting adventure tommorrow will bring! Hope you are all doing well!

Have you ever passed a...well uh...I guess I would call it a mucus plug. I had bad D for 30 days, and the day I was to go in to see the dr., that morning I actually passed a mucus stool. Weirdest thing. I actually put on rubber gloves and scooped it out so I could tell the doctor what it was. (No, I didn't save it). After that I had regular BM's for quite a few weeks. Don't know what that was all about.Nothing surprises me now.Karen
