Hi Belle:I'm not really sure what I posted that you're asking about, but my good news is that what I thought was a fissure actually seems to be a hemorrhoid that hemorrhaged. My PCP had continued me on the Rowasa that my surgeon started me on. Evidently my body doesn't like the stuff, and chose to act up to get me to stop using it. Now that I've been shoving Prep-H instead of Rowasa, I'm recovering very nicely! So, I guess I'm doing pretty good!bob
I am glad that you are better. Are you taking a multivitamin with Vitamin A in it? That vit help to heal those delicate epithelial tissues of out gut and may help you H. The usual dose is 5,000 I.U. If we have diarrhea at times we may not be absorbing out fat soluble vitamins. There is a wonderful oil called MEDIAN CHAIN TRIGLYCERIDES which helps in the absorption by allowing the above to be absorbed up higher in the intestinal tract. You may get it a GNC CHEAP but if you get it in a drugstore it will cost 4 times as much and it is a special order. I take it once a week just to make sure I am absorbing some of the fat soluble vitamins. Didnt mean to write a book. Belle,
