I am scheduled to undergo my first upper endoscopy on July 22. If that proves negative than I will officially be diagnosed as IBS. Like I didn't know this already.Doc seems to think I am IBS, but I guess he needs to tamper one last time to make sure.I have been sick now for nearly three yearsand it got worst so if I had anything really serious I would be dead by now. Although I have had a lot of pain and sometimes felt like I was dying. Hopefully I have been thorugh the worst, but I have had so many ups and downs that this really worries me.Especially the fatigue part. Just don't have the stamina that I used to have.Used to ride my bike 50 miles. I am luckyto do 20 miles and feel like #### afterwards.Stopped riding because of the swelling and problem breathing. Anybody have similarproblems.?

I know how you feel, habib. I used to play tennis every other night or so, not to mention softball, hiking, swimming, etc. the pain was so severe when my IBS first hit that I couldn't run around the tennis court anymore, and then everything else followed until I was no longer active. That was about 5 years ago and I still am not in shape because it hurts my intestines so bad to exercise, not to mention the nausea and headaches it causes. The thing I miss most about my life before IBS? Definately the sporting activities. *sigh*
