Hi gang,my IBS Google Alert threw this up just now. Sounds pretty amazing to me that they've identified culprit genes that are pretty accurate indicators for IBS, I didn't know such a test existed. Not much use to us who already know we have IBS but it could replace or ameliorate the need for multiple investigative procedures (endoscopy, colonoscopy, various blood tests and so on).The news article:http://www.genomeweb.com/blog/exagen-debut...ompanion-dx-useThe company's product page:http://www.exagen.com/ourtests/eXaIbs.aspxIs this a bit of a diagnostics game-changer or has it already been done?Cheers,Pete
