That's the way the press release seems to read on their website. Anyone have the scoop on this? I feel like a dork that it took a post on the IBS usenet group to point that out to me!

I'm sure others will answer this, Steve, but it tested better on women, and they don't know why. However they're now retesting men in the UK. And a few months ago someone posted a glowing report from a man that was on it a year. There are other drugs that will follow like Cilansetron(I don't know how soon, though) that seems to do well for both. Flux mentioned something beginning with R the other day I never even heard of..Flux?
