Hi I'm so glad to have found this site. I have had C almost all my life. I've been taking Shaklee Herblax - like 10 of them - each night for about 30 years. I had a colonoscopy a few weeks ago. Nothing was found except a bit of a lazy colon. I was put on Zelnorm for the past few weeks, and it didn't help. Does it take a long time to work sometimes? I began taking herblax along with it just so I can have a BM. Has anyone else had an experience like this? My internist told me to stay on the Zelnorm for a few more weeks to see if it works. If not, then I will go back to the gastro.... help.

heya. can't help you with the med but thought i'd just say hi. I have ibs-a and when i get c (not badly i hv to admit, i tend towards d) i end up with a large, strong coffee and a banana, that usually does the trick!!!
