I just posted this message on the constipation board too. My neighbor just told me that she heard on the news that there is a new medicine out now that could be an alternative for former Zelnorm users. Anyone know anything about this?
About the only other really recent thing was Miralax went over the counter. It's not new, just new to OTC and there have been quite a few ads the last week or two.I think there are a couple of things in clinical trial, but not at the just got released stage.K.
There are some people here that have good luck with it.It is very good as osmotic laxatives go. At higher doses it is what they use to clean out the colon for a colonoscopy. It won't have the same action as Zelnorm, but it does help a good percentage of people with constipation.K.
