HI just want to know for guys here who has IBS and GERD and is taking Nexium, does anyone encounter taking nexium for a period of 2 weeks and getting stomach cramps, discomfort with loose stools? I would like to have some opinion as i was previously on omeprazole and recently switch to Nexium (esmoprazole) prescribled by my doc due to feeling abdomen discomfort with nausea as a new systom which i never encountered . i am currently monitoring the drugs i am taking so i can review with my DOC this week. if my stomach cramps every morning do not go away, i might need to stop this drug and perhaps do a breadth test or ultrascan to check for bacteria infection or other complications.
