I have just read the excellent book Stop Belly-aching: Banish Indigestion and Irritable Bowel Syndrome.This talks about the order we eat our food and the problems with eating food combinations. It gives an order that you should eat things - raw fruit veg first, then cooked fruit veg, then protein, then starches. All this with preferably a break in between. I have been trying this and it seems to be helping - I still need to avoid certain foods but my c & d have improved dramatically.Rich
