This has been a week from hades......IBS seems to be subsiding, but now I have this constant pressure and pain in the pelvic area, am still constipated, but lots of voiding, and lots of pressure.......have had to stop daily walk routine..........will see doctor tomorrow, someone suggested it is bladder infection, which goes hand to hand with IBS.......I have never had it............what do ya think? and thanks you guys are terrific

Sorry Rickie - but are you male or female. If female - welcome to the joyous world of cystitis (possibly) - I, along with others on this board frequently suffer - but that's very specific horrible burning sensation when weeing and constantly needing to go even when you've just been.Mine's caused by poor hygiene (sorry to be frank but that's whats needed) ie: wiping back to front rather than t'other way and poor fluid intake (except the alcoholic variety) which I try to address with cranberry juice. In any event, male or female, yes, could easily be a bladder infection which do seem to strike readily at us IBS-ers - you'd think we had enough symptoms to keep us busy!!Hope you feel better soon.Sue, Manchester

Yep. I don't really get bladder infections but I'm not new to the world of cystitis. I too am a backwards wiper (blush) but just can't make myself head that loo roll the other direction! The burn is incredible! Hope you feel better soon.
