I started having pains behind my left ribs about a month ago. My gastro said IBS and gave me anti-spasm perscription, no help. I have been taking Tagamet over the counter and it seems to help. I have also been having nausea and rolaids seem to help. Does anyone else experience these symtoms? I think I must have an ulcer, I am under a huge amount of work related stress.

Th, did your doctor do any tests?What are your symptoms also?
Hi th:Have you talked to your doc about the pain? It's best to it checked out as so many digestive diseases can mimic each other.JeanG
