When I have my pain from IBS, it seems to center around the lower left part of my abdomen. When this first happened, I underwent extensive testing to rule our appendicits, gall bladder problems or problems from my Crohn's disease. This was the same time that I was diagnosed with IBS. The doctor gave me Bentyl to try to eliminate the pain and it helped put it to a dull roar, but it was still there.I know it isn't very comfortable, but I believe it is normal from what my GI told me.I hope you get to feeling better soon.
