I know I have posted about this before but I am just searching for people that have the same problem as I do. I have a consistant pain just to the right of my belly button about an inch or so down. It really only hurts if I move a certain way or push on that area. Feels like a big gas bubble, yet it is always in the same spot. If I lay flat on my back it is worse, I can hardly push around on the area at all. Sometimes it just goes completely away and sometimes it gets really bad for many days. I have had a CT scan, Scoping, Ultra-sound, UpperGI, X-rays and surgery where they removed my gallbladder and appendix. Still no understanding of the pain or why it is there. If any of you have this and have a clue what it could be please post here!! Thanks!! =) It scares the hell out of me...

I do too. Does it kind of feel like where your appendix is supposed to be? That's where mine is. I've had countless tests over countless years, some drs believe I might have a leaky appendix, yet others don't, my 2 current doctors don't believe I do, and gave me diagnosis of IBS. In 3 weeks I go back to tell them this diet has made absolutely no difference in the pain. Mine, though, is constant 24 7. I can't remember the last time I couldn't feel it. Couple years ago? Maybe.... I am a big biker and whenever I get really into working out, it throbs so much. Kind of puts a crimp in my working out! There is also some pain in my upper right back/side. Kind of near my armpit. And, right under my right breast. You're right. It's very scary. When my ob/gyn thought it might be my appendix leaking scared the ###### out of me! At times I feel like I'm on fire near my appendix. It's so frustrating whenever I see a dr. ???????------------------Jlynn------------A day without laughter is a day wasted.

Wow a leaking appendix would scare the ###### out of me too. Luckly I have had mine removed so I know it isn't that. But like you my discomfort gets worse with exercise. Running, situps and intercourse (blushes). I can deal with the pain, just want to know it is nothing to worry about....Chris

yea, I have the pain on the right side around my belly button, I too find the countless visits to the Dr. frustrating.I have has many tests which haven't revealed any abnormality on the right! however a dr. egreed that my right side felt fuller. Often it becomes disrende and i feel like stool and gass collect in that area. I'm anxious to know if anyone experienced relief arter having their apendix removed. Also is their a test for leaky gut. Hopefully we can figure this confusion out.
