i have had ibs for 13 years now but recently whenever i have to go to the bathroom{# 2} i have such pain that I cannot stand or sit. What can I do?

Any chance you have hemmaroids or a fissure? Those can be painful when you have a BM.Or does it feel more like a spasm higher up rather than near the anus.K.
