I'm newly diagnosed and still awaiting a few tests - breath test for SIBO, stool sample, and (if all else fails) a colonscopy in January. In the meantime, awaiting a definitive diagnosis, my GI doc prescribed me Pamine Forte 5mg( methscopolamine bromide) twice a day (before breakfast and lunch). It is an antispasmotic that will hopefully decrease the pain.Has anyone heard of these tests/meds? After looking up Pamine F I found a few disturbing "FDA Warning Letters" to the manufacturer about leaving off some side effects from their patient info packet/website. While these were dated 2 years ago, I'm a bit nervous about starting the med.Any help?

Pamine Forte in the 5mg was too strong for me(felt kinda sick) so I took 1/2. Eventually I got them to just give me regular Pamine in the 2.5mg. I take it as needed for cramping or as a preventative if I go out to eat. I have had no problems at all with this lower dose.
