Susan -- {{{{{Hugs}}}}} i'm sorry your going through this! i don't have much anxiety, but i completely understand how you're feeling -- what your ab's experiencing sounds like mine when i'm having bad days... i'll be seeing a dr. for the first time ever about my gut this thursday, and i can totally relate to the part where your reluctant to see your dr again. please try not to cry or to get too emotional -- it will only make the symptoms worse. Try to calm yourself down a little and eat something warm and steamed (no fried food or raw veges etc) -- i also find really focusing on doing something simple but enjoyable (like watching your favorite TV show etc) generally makes me forget my discomfort at least a little bit for a little while.
