I was recently told that Peppermint products such as Pepermint Teas, Peppermint Oil, Peppermint Spirits, and strong peppermint mints such as Altoid relieves bowel spasms and pain. Has anyone had any success with Peppermint products? Today I purchised a box of peppermint tea in hopes it will work! I was also told to try Cammomile Tea as well. What products work for severe bowel spasms, and discomfort?

I find that peppermint tea works wonders for me as does peppermint enteric capsules. They aren't the same brand as Minitrol, but they work really well, they are made by Nature's Way and are called Pepogest. They are working wonders, I haven't had bad cramping in a few days and for me that is completely amazing.

Lately, I've tried peppermint tea, ginger tea and chamomile and nothing has really helped. Do they only work on spasms? I just have a dull ache. I now have tons of tea! I also bought Altoids. Any other ideas?
