Here's something else I'm now doing just as an additional help for IBS-C. My pilates instructor showed me a move called "Roll Like a Ball." It is supposed to help the colon. When i do the exercise, I actually hear my colon making all sorts of gurgling noises. Since I've been doing this exercise, I am more regular. Of course, I'm using herbals and magnesium, but I haven't had the scary "can't go at all" times.

This may be difficult. Sit on the floor with the knees bent. Put the heels together. Grab the outsides of your heels, from the inside out. Then roll back and forth on your back without letting your feet touch the floor.
