Can someone help with my query please.(1)Which is best Psyllium seeds or husks and what is the difference?(2)It says to take with 8oz warm water,is this correct?(You take one hour before other meds,is this correct? I have read that if you take a few seeds after a meal that it will take away some of the fat,if it is in your meal.Anyone with info on this subject,or is there anyone takeing it now i would appreciate as much info as you can on this. Many thanks,Tina.

No info on which is best, but the info about plenty of water is very correct You definitely need to take with lots of water. Too much fiber without enough water can cause a blockage. I think the avoiding taking medicine at the same time makes sense, just in case it blocks the absorbtion.Don't know if it would do anything for concurrently eaten fat. I know it binds bile acids but don't know about fat (it is used to lower cholesterol because once the bile is bound it is not recycled and you make new bile from cholesterol in the blood)
