Do any of you ever get the feeling that you were just punched in the gut? That is how I feel. My stomach still hasn't let up and its been weeks. I also realized that I sleep just fine through the night, and I feel great when I wake up, until I actually stand up and then I feel crappy all over again. I would like to emphasize that I am not having diarrea or constipation. Just cramping, gas pains, a little bloating, I felt like vomiting today and yesterday, but I didin't. My dr. appt is on the 30th.

I get that punched in stomach feeling only if I've had a bad bout of D. Feels like my intestines/stomach are badly bruised inside.I'm glad you are seeing your doctor. Let us know what the problem is. Good luck.

I know the feeling you describe. What I found interesting is that you said you feel fine when you first wake up, and then after you get up that sensation hits you again....that is EXACTLY what happens to me, only my sensation is that gnawing, hollow, 'empty' sensation in the belly. Weird. I wish I knew why that is - feeling good when you first wake up, and then it getting worse.I hope the doctor is able to help you. Take care.

Sarah Jane, You really have had a tough time. I live with the feeling you describe every day. I feel as though someone took their fist and drove it to my spine. I know it's hard to wait until the 30th, but hang in there! We will do whatever we can to help.Kerri
