Does anybody else get really queasy along with their IBS? I wouldn't call it nasuea, because I don't feel like I'm going to vomit. It's just more of un uncomfortable gurgling everytime I eat. The D often follows soon after. Any OTC remedies? Doctor won't prescribe anything for me at this point because my symptoms aren't serious enough.

hi pdb,i have plenty of experience with all forms of nausea, unfortunatly. sometimes i take a motion sickness pill if the pain is very mild, that has helped before. do you get heartburn or anything after you eat? i mean, what do you think is causing the pain? if you figure that out, it may be easier to fix...good luck!

I often feel queasy right after (or even during) a meal. After I went on Celexa (an SSRI), it stopped for a couple months, but now it's coming back. Makes me feel miserable. It seems like only a med that affects serotonin gets rid of it for me. Lotronex eliminated it entirely, along with almost all the other IBS symptoms too. It doesn't usually matter what I eat--it's the act of eating that sets it off.
