I have read here in the past that Yoga is sometimes helpful to relax the Irritable Bowel. I have been taking Yoga now for over 6 months once a week and while it feels great when I do it and I always sleep like a rock the night of Yoga, I don't seem to have any lasting effects re: IBS. Is there specific Yoga exercises geared to IBS and if so is there any good books or Web site that could help me learn more ? I have asked my instructor and she is not aware of any specific routines for IBS but is interested in learning more as well if there is. Thanks in advance for any help you can offer.

Thanks Talissa, great information and I will try every day to do some especially the breathing because I know that really does help with my relaxation. Thanks again for the wealth of knowledge as well as the suggestions.

Thanks for all the feedback, excellent stuff and I truly appreciate it all. That is what is so great about this site. We are all there for each other and together a wealth of knowledge.
