Although I have ibs-d, I have just noticed a lemon pip in my poo, today is Wednesday and the only time I had lemon recently was on Sunday in a pasta. That's 3 days. Is this unusually slow transit time for someone with ibs-d?

Looking at what is in your poop in the toliet is not always the most efficient way to judge transit time. There are official diagnostic tests that measure transit times. In your case it could have just been hung up somewhere in side for a few. I wouldn't worry about it.

May I ask why people here still use the word "poop" instead of the much more appropriate "feces" or "defecation"?

AP We do not stand on ceremony and are not very formal here. We are, however, respectful of each other.
