I have shy bowel and these past two days were awful since I had to stay at someone else's place and I couldn't relax and poop at all. I still had the urge to go but, as you understand, I couldn't get not even a tiny bit out. Now, I'm back at my home but this whole thing has affected me strongly and I still can't relax when going to the toilet. My concern is that I'm dealing with intense bloating that's mainly focused on my rectum. And that makes me worried about whether I might have fecal matter in my rectum from not going that may lead to an impaction.
The bloating is awful and I have difficulty sleeping at night. This has happened to me again before and I did eventually go normally but, for some reason, this time I'm so stressed about getting it back to normal that I try to rush myself to defecate. I know this probably makes it worse but I can't help it.
I tried a glycerin suppository but it didn't help. Do you know any other ways in which I can stimulate my rectum or just simply help myself poop? It this type of incomplete evacuation dangerous? Or am I just overreacting? Also, any way you help yourself sleep at night?
I'm currently taking some probiotics.
