Well my remission is over! After a month of near perfect normal health with minimum symptoms my symptoms are back with a vengeance! Screaming red hot diarrhoea and nausea..just starting to ease off now...also had mild discomfort under my right ribs.I have follow up appts coming up soon to have my gallbladder assessed for removal....i am still convinced i have a dodgy gallbladder that works ok for some of the time then does what it is doing today and reverts to type.

oh riddick--so sorry to hear this. and yes that's great you had relief for a while but like diana said it's so hard when all that wonderful relief and well being are suddenly torn away from you once again. hope you are feeling at least a little better today and good luck with the upcoming dr appointment--sure do hope the dr can figure this out so you can finally get some permanent relief.

Hi ianHappy new year! I suppose i shouldn't moan about my sporadic symptoms...i have it easy compared to many on here.Could have been the nerve shredding excitement of watching my beloved leeds beat manu! I'm still smiling and still in shock!!

Hi Riddick and well done to your Leeds boys,we on merseyside enjoyed it too.I too feel a bit guilty that I'm a lot better than most on here.My last bad episode was on my birthday a week before Xmas when my boys took me out for a meal but crippling stomach pains made me come home before we all wanted to.I never had D that night simply because I take 8 loperamide a day to stop me being caught short so to speak.I do understand what you went through though as I have been through it many times.Good luck
