If you've only had this for 5 days I wouldn't worry toooo much. It could be a virus or a temporary "thing". If it goes on for a week or more then you might just go to your regular doc.. or, do that now. Don't get too upset about this right now. Good luck, Libby S

Hi this is a 1st post for me. I am a 29 yr old female. FOr the past 5 days I have had right side pain, initially lower right, and now mid to lower right in various places. it feels both like shooting pain at times, and other times discomfort. i also have had mucus stool and once yellowish stool. I have no other complaints, no appetite loss, no vomiting/diahrea, no fever. My internist thinks it is something GI related and that i should see a gastroenterologist. What do you all think? It is not food poisoning - I have had that a few times and this seems very different. IBS? Crohns? IBD? Colitis? Gall bladder? Thanks
