My right frontal cortex is very active indeed.Changing one's focus I really believe is helpful. My mother does it naturally to the point of distraction. She is indeed calm and has weathered a lot of unbelievable strss very well just by choosing to distract herself.I wish I could learn meditation but these teachers are so hard to find in the States. In India they are a dime a dozen.

As you already know, often, diversional activity has been my salvation.Sometimes we just gotta keep on keepin' on even when we literally feel like ####.Thanks for the post, Tom.....
