i was reading a letter to a nutricional expert whic said that someone was trying to gain weight and was mixing skimmed milk with those high protein shakes and was complaning of I.B.S symptons, the expert said that full fat milk was best. And that skimmed and semi skimmed were bad for the digestion.I have never come accross this opinion before and believed that semi would be better anyone have an opinion on this news?

Fat itslef is a trigger to most people with IBS and a strong influence on the gastro colonic responce.If the protein drinks are something like ensure, then they have high iron content which can cause pain.Milk personally doesn't bother me unless I drink a lot.
