·Is bloody mucous a part of IBS? I've experienced narrow stools and mucous in my stools for a year now. Only occasionally do I have a normal BM. When they're not normal, I have many, many small soft or hard stools in a day, and never evacuate completely. I'd say over the past year, I've had maybe 15 normal BM's. Sometimes I have a lot of mucous and sometimes mucous with bright blood mixed in. I never had to strain. I've also experienced bowel incontinence at times, sometimes as much as 6-8 times a day. I have NO ABDOMINAL PAIN, and no diarrhea. Does this sound like IBS? I really appreciate any responses. Thanks!Melly
