Hello,I am curious....after having a BM in the AM, I am getting bowel and rectal spasms after I go. Is this unusual for IBS C? I take Bentyl for the spasms. It does seem to help some. Thanks

I can get a lot of pain in these areas after i have a BM to.

I have had spasms after a BM, even though all the literature says that in IBS, a bowel movement should provide relief. That's partly why I no longer believe I have IBS. My symptoms align more closely with SIBO.I think that gas still trapped in the colon may lead to cramps when it moves after a BM.
