Eric, In Canada, Stelabid (trifluoperazine hydrochloride) is prepared by SmithKline Beecham. It's a synthetic anticholinergic which is used as an antispasmodic.It can be useful in the treatment of a great number of digestive disorders such as gastrosuodenal ulcers, gastritis, functional diarrhea, irritable bowel, genito-urinary spasmes, etc.I got more info about this medication in the Canadian Compendium of pharmaceutical products and specialties (if anybody is interested).
