Hi AllI have decided to join this forum as I am fed up with my body at the moment and my local GP! My doctor is unsure of why my body is doing this and has referred me to a Gastroenterology Specialist, which is finally in another week (waiting list was long) I am currently on Gastro-Stop & Pramin.I suffer from servere diarrhea first thing in the morning, from soft formed stools, first trip to the loo then to liquid, lasting about 5 trips to the bathroom, then most days I am fine for the rest of the day with a feeling of quesy in the tummy. So I am unsure if I do suffer from IBS and was wondering if there is anyone else out there with my symptons? And what do you do to cure of help this problem. In the past I was alway regular, twice a day, then it had changed to 3/4 times a day in the past 6 weeks, then 2 weekends ago my tummy exploded while I was out shopping!! (that was not fun) and for the whole weekend I had diarrhea, and I was unable to go out with friends or family, since then I have come down with a viral infection and been unable to go to work for the last week or so, I just cant get off the loo in the morning & then I am scared I am going to have a accident on the way to work!!!! I have also have a very coated tounge, so bad that I can't even stand the taste in my own mouth!!I have been researching the internet for help and was wondering if any with diarrhea has tried the "Home Rememdies" on Simple IBS Cure? The first rememedy was fresh lemon juice first thing in the morning to help with the diarrhea? and one of the others was Coconut Macaroon Cookies? and if you have did they work? At this stage I am willing to try any thing as I amd tired of bland foods!! there is only so much crackers, bread & plain pasta a person can eat!! Thanks for listening

Some people with crohn's that also causes a lot of diarrhea swear by the macaroon cookies. Haven't heard of that many people here trying it but I think it helps some and not others. Haven't heard of people having much luck with lemon juice in the morning. You might look at the Calcium thread pinned in the diarrhea forum. That seems to work well for a good percentage of people.

Hi,I would say stay away from citrus it is too acidy.I can't eat any citrus at all.The trouble is the docotra do not know what we are going through. But I do know stress has a lot to do with it.Some days you can eat something next day you can't, it is very confusing.Maybe if the doctors and specialists had what we have they would soon find a cure.Just keep reading what others have tried and try it never know something might help you.Good Luck
