I seem to have my IBS under some kind of control. I still have problems every day but they are deffinatley not as bad as they used to be.When I suffer from Diarrhea I cut out coffee, cigarettes, all warm and fizzy drinks, all dairy products. Doing this calms it down.When I have constipation I drink warm camomile tea and smoke cigerattes, these are the only things that seem to make me need to go.Another tip. When I get the dredded stomache pain I can usually make it go away within 2 minutes by Immediatley:1.Let as much wind out as immediatley possible2.Sit completely still and bolt up right3.Take a few deep breaths whilst concentrating on the site of the pain4. whilst concentrating imagine a smooth thick liquid sliding through your colon 5. stay in complete focus until you notice the pain fade.I used to get these pain 3 times a day and now I get them maybe twice a week. By using the above method they usually pass within a few minutes.Try it and let me know if it works for you!
