Did anyone in the UK watch on Monday night the BBC programme Real Story? It focused on so called "superbugs" that are becoming increasingly resistant to antibiotics and could contaminate chicken. Here's a link to the story http://news.bbc.co.uk/1/hi/programmes/real_story/4132822.stmalso have a look at "superbugs found in chicken survey" which is on the right hand side of the page. I've had campylobacter which I got from chicken but one poor guy on the programme has found the antibiotics used to treat it just aren't working and he can't get rid of it. Even when you do get rid of it, you can, like me and many others be left with IBS.
