Hi, been reading the board for a little while now and I have a few symptoms that I haven't noticed, or maybe haven't read deep enough into the archives to see anything like this. But need to know that I am not a freak (or maybe i am?) (family is tired of hearing about my weird symptoms)But does anybody else have unexplained pains when their gut begins to act up? I swing from d to c all the time, so I never know what to expect next. The c will keep me dizzy most of the time and just feeling lousy and crappy
I am more of a c than a d though. But when I have either, my upper muscle part of my arm will hurt or my neck will hurt. This is strange as all get out and forever it bothered me until I noticed a "connection" between my weird spells of gut problems. Also, I noted somebody wrote about having like hot flashes or soomething like that. I get it severe and it wakes me up at night. Starts at my lower tummy and s-l-o-w-l-y goes up to my chest where it feels like my insides are expanding as it happens. Then I will have a big gas bubble released or weird rumblings in my tummy and it immediately goes away. This is accompanied by a increased heart rate, and i feel like I am sweating, but I am not. I also am lucky enough to have gas pains which radiate into my chest - so I am lucky enough to always think I am havng a heart attack on top of all this fun!! Soemtimes when I have the pains, I break out into a sweat and think "Oh this is it, a real heart attack" and then I will notice my tummy is making weird noises again or feels funny and eveyrthing goes back to somewhat "normal" for us anyhow. So, am I alone on this or what? Anybody else have something to share with my weird symptoms?

The fact that you are saying heart attack - I would number 1 check the heart just to make sure. Then if that checks out ok then it's time to get the old gallbladder check out because that was the same type of pain I was getting until they removed it last year. Have you had any tests yet?

Hi mejosp:It's probably time for you to get things checked out, if you haven't allready. It sounds like you've got a lot of different symptoms, and should talk to a doctor about it.I alternate between C&D also, although currently it's under control through diet and using hypnotherapy. I don't have the same pains you do, but everyone's pain varies.Have you had any tests done? Keep us posted on how you're doing, and what you find out.Good luck.JeanG

Check your heart ...tell doctor about it...also have gall bladder checked out. When I had gall bladder problems I KNEW I was having a heart attack! But it wasnt! You need to have a healthy heart and gall bladder attacks arent funny, so your best bet is to have both checked out. Let us know.
