Eat less bacteria food (so limit starches and foods that have sorbitol or other -itols in them and things with raffinose like beans).Take probiotics as they don't make gas from carbs.If you aren't farting more than usual, it may not be more gas, just not dealing with colon activity or normal amounts of gas as well as you used to. Reducing gas volume may help, but sometimes when it is a reaction to colon activity that causes pain or bloating you can get fart frequency well below normal and not make the problem go away.
