Hi all,I am new to this board and boy, do I feel blessed that I am totally not alone! My husband "goes" like clockwork and he doesn't eat very healthy. I eat bran daily, exercise daily, plenty of fruits, and if I drink anymore water I'll be a sailor. My IBS-C started over 10+ years ago, but I was able to manage it with exercise and diet. However, the past couple of months, not sure what changed besides me turning 31. My BMs changed drastically. I have tried suppositories, enemas, stool softeners, laxatives, prune juice, seena, Mag. Citrate. The only thing that seemed to be working was Mag Citrate. But now that takes up to three days to work, and that is drinking 10 ounce bottle daily. I am getting extremely frusterated and I see a GI Dr tomorrow. My Dr did put me on Zelnorm and I have been on it now for two weeks with zero results except pretty bad chest pains. I just ordered Colonix so I am hoping that will give me some relief along with my GI visit tomorrow.I went on a vacation with some friends about two weeks ago. They all eat cheese, fast food, smoke and all get the "beer runs". I actually was wanting that too, as I ended up in the E.R. with massive constipation...and E.R. enema didn't really work on me. They said I am backed up on my right side. Ugh.I just want to thank you all for listening. As I feel that I am somewhat alone on this issue.
