Ugh...these trips to the bathroom are getting old

I"m not sure why, but for some reason, the last few weeks have been hell with my guts. It's getting to where I never have a formed bm anymore. It's all loose or liquid. I recently started on Neurontin for migraine prevention and I wonder if it's contibuting - although diarrhea is not listed as a side effect. But who knows - when you have IBS, anything is possible.Anyway, I just needed to vent a little. Immodium doesn't seem to be helping a lot. Normally, I can take one or two tablets and it clears things up pretty well, but lately it's not doing the job. Perhaps I need to up the dose a little.Just looking for some sympathy
and some input.Thanks!Anne Marie

(((Anne Marie))))) - you have my sympathy - I've been having a similar time. Just remember - it DOES pass. You might want to check out the migraine medication as well - I often find that medication gives me the runs even when it's not mentioned as a side-effect. Basically, my guts react to more or less anything! Good luck.hugsliz

I have terrible IBS D. The only thing (besides lotronex) that helped me was Remeron. I take 45 mgs before bedtime. It works like Lotro, blocking the same 5ht3 receptor that secretes seratonin that controls gut reaction.
