·Have had the C type for 20 some years, with occasional mild, mild D during an attack. Now, I've had 2 D episodes in 3 days, and they have been bad. I thought having the C type was rotten enough, but I would just have to stay home with pains and constant trips to the potty for a day, then OK till next attack. But this D thing, omgosh, how do you deal with that-it comes on so sudden. Now I can understand how this IBS can keep a person housebound. I don't know if these are just some strange incidents or my IBS is changing. Which is stressing me out, the worst thing for any of us. I suffer from panic attacks also, which are brought on by any type of stomach unease, so this is really bringing to an ugly place. Guess I'll have to wait and see how this progresses.
