I have to travel soon without a bathroom and I suffer from IBS-D. Does anyone have any protective undergarment recommendations? If so, exactly what and where can they be found? Is there something out there other than bulky Depends, or have they improved?

I have friends that wear Depends and say they are not much worse than a maxi pad.

I also wear the new Depends that are advertised to fit like underwear. They are not to bad!! ;o)Pam

Got a Walmart near you? House brand Assurance makes a Disposable Underwear (that's what they're labeled) every bit as good as Depends brand of same and half the price. Not at all uncomfortable. The ones to avoid are the ones that are plastic outside (called Fitted Briefs). The're like a portable sauna. Major YUCK!
