this isnt all ibs but is also part panic attac.it all started yesterday when i went out,i ended up having some small panic attacks which lead to good old ibs D.later that day i felt better.when i went to bed i started having some more intense panic attacks but i somhow fell asleep.i woke and it started all over again.this time it got bad.i would get flush and then cold and then hot and sweaty.having the feeling to evacuate even tho i didnt have to. it ended up with me sitting on the toilet shaking serverly.i stayed in bed all day fighting this feeling.this is the first time in a long time it had gotten this bad.its that circle thing.im afraid of having ibs atttacks so i get a painic attack.or i get a panic attack and that triggers an ibs attack.i need to get this under control.i hope i can i need to practice knowing that half of this can be brought on by my thought proscess.i just wanted to share.

Hi Twisted! Thanks for sharing you troubles. It's nice to know I'm not alone.I can understand the panic circle. I have IBSC not D. I panic when I have to eat something for fear it will make me sick. Of course it becomes a self fulfilling prophesie because the panic makes me sick...and the circle goes round and round until I'm in bed.I don't know your finacial or insurance situation but, have you tried getting help for the panic attacks. (Sorry if I'm being simplistic.) I can't take most of the meds for panic attacks because they are constipating but therapy helped me allot. They taught me exercises to help me calm down. That said...it's not a cure but it helped. Love, Jamie

Twisted glad your feeling better. Anxiety disorder, panic attacks can be treated with medication theses days. I know you mentioned you tried different medications. Well keep trying until you find the right medication when you do you will feel almost completely back too your old self. It took me like 6 medication until I found what works for me. Also when I found the right Medication (Buspar & Donnatal) I had to change the dosage 4 different times to get it right. I was getting relief but not all the time until the doctor and I figured out the right dose. So it takes time but the right medication and the right dosage can make all the difference and can take way your panic attacks. Don't settle for less.--------------My story: http://www.ibsgroup.org/ubb/ultimatebb.php...c;f=17;t=000155 Moblog: http://robinsnest.textamerica.com/ Website: http://www.visionsofjesuschrist.com/
