I have just been diagnosed with IBS after a very bad attack that I think incoprorated every element of the problem. I know my main triggers are Gluten and Wheat, I had thought this was just an allergy!I have been told to give up Nicotine and caffine along with dairy. Green Tea and Pepermint Tea seem to be good substiutes for the Caffine, but has anyone any tips on "treats", ie chocolate and sweetie subsitues that might help with the nicotine withdrawl? Has anyone else been advised to give up smoking with this issue and had sucess and did it make a difference?
