Sorry I probably won't be much help, since IBS hit me I have kept on loosing weight and having a problem gaining weight. Are you on any meds? Some meds make you gain weight. Hope you find what you are looking for.
WEIGHT GAIN
HAS ANYONE EXPERIENCED WEIGHT GAIN. eVER SINCE I WAS DIAGNOSED IBS i HAVE GAINED 20 ILS. I HAVE HAD A GOOD DIET AND CONSTANT EXERCISE FOR THE LAST 6 MONTHS AND HAVEN'T HAD ANY RESULTS. IS THIS BECAUSE OF IBS?

When I first was diagnosed with IBS I lost weight like crazy. They put me on paxil to try and combat the brain-gut thing and I gained a significant amount of weight. I have gone off the paxil and lost 15lbs right away. Still have another 20 to get off....If you aren't on meds...it's a new one on me. Are you mostly D or C? DC
I'm mostly D. I haven't been on any meds in a while but imodiom and simethicone
