Both are detected by a scope. So there is damage to the intestines for both I presume.These days they have an immunological test for Celiac and Crohn's is an autoImmune Disorder. The only difference I can gather so far is Celiac is gluten sensitivity while the cause of Crohn's is unknown. Any info will be appreciated.

I think the type of damage seen is different. Celiac damages the villi that are at the top end of the small intestine. I thought that Crohn's damaged the large intestine (but I could well be wrong).In an earlier posting you asked about celiac discussion groups. One that I visit occasionally that seems good is: forums.delphiforums.com/celiac. My internet abilites are limited; I don't know how to give you a direct link, but at least the address is short.
