What do you suggest I drink besides water?I cant drink any kind of milk or acidy juices.And only a little tea.So what does that leave me to drink?Thank you for any help and replies.diannamlp
White grape juice tends to be pretty low in GI irritants.Avoid Apple, pear, peach, and cherry juices if you get a lot of diarrhea as the sorbitol in those fruits can increase diarrhea.
I drink lots of water,the odd cup of black tea,peppermint tea and occassionally chamomile tea.I cannot drink fizzy juices of any kind either.I have soya milk in my cereal in the mornings.
It also might help to be careful with high-fructose drinks (e.g., orange juice, soda). In part it's just a process of seeing what your own body can tolerate and what it cannot. I also find that I have limited beverage options...aside from water, I stick with non-dairy milks (rice, almond).
