Hi, Heather,I'm IBS-C and I'm just wondering what kind of magnesium and calcium would be best for me. Right now I'm taking Calcium citrate and elemental Magnesium (a combination). Are these okay or should I be taking carbonate, oxide or something else?

Hi - the best general advice I've seen on this is to use citrate (calcium that has magnesium) if you tend toward constipation. Os-Cal is one brand. Use caltrate (calcium with no magnesium) if you tend toward diarrhea. Both should have added vitamin D. So, it sounds like you're good to go with what you're using. Best,Heather
